Astwood Bank Angling Club (ABAC), is a well established fishing
club with over 500 members from Redditch and surrounding areas
in Warwickshire and
Worcestershire. The club has a
wide range of fisheries to cover all aspects of coarse fishing.
There is an active match section with
matches for all members as well as matches for pensioners and
juniors and disabled. One venue has access and pegs for disabled
anglers.
The club has venues with Carp to 20lb+,
the club also holds a
large stretch of the Warwickshire Avon that is popular with the Barbel
Anglers with regular captures of double figure Barbel. There are
also a number of lakes which are popular with the match and
pleasure angler and a stretch of the River Stour near Stratford.
