Davro Cup & Ladies Cup 21st August 2005
  The weather stayed fine as 9 juniors turned up to contest the Davro Cup and 3 ladies for the ladies cup. The draw was made and the flyer pegs of 21 and 22 went to the ladies with Sophie Evans favourite for the juniors having shown her ability at the draw bag by pulling peg 23.  

Bites were proving hard to come by for most of the youngsters with most of them not connecting with the carp and having to fish for the small roach. Carp were made a showing in the pegs in the 20's with Mrs. P. Burton losing a number of fish, one of which took most of her top section as well.

  

With Sophie having already shown her ability in a previous junior match to set a new club 3 hour match record, she was going to take some beating
