how do I go about getting a bite on abbots? any particular areas, rigs, baits? I'm not sure the best way to approach it. As i only have day sessions, do they like plenty of bait? spread of bait? tight bed of bait well positioned?

I spoke to a couple lads last season, who said that this lake was very hard going fishing during the day and that it was a better night venue. I have fished here a few times and always blanked during the day, would i be better trying to get a night ticket?
