That may have been me, fished that bay a couple of times now on the surface.
What I did the second time was feed the ducks plenty of bread further round the lake and fish untill they started to come my way, then repeat.

If you're after Pike, try the Stour at Clifford Chambers. Thats interesting, the place is literaly just down the road from me, only fished it a couple of times though and only ever caught bream. Generaly fish with lures for pike, not sure how easy the Stour would be to lure fish, alot of lilys etc....

So whats everyones plan for winter?
What waters historicaly fish well in the winter on our books?
