In an attempt to keep cormmorrant predation to a minimum,the "scarers" have today been installed,these will be in place thruoughout the winter period.

A small amount of work needs to be carried out this Saturday 7th Dec.
We will try to keep disruption to a minimum for any anglers fishing the venue.

Due to recent rainfall it is adviseable to park at the pumphouse and not drive along the river to get to your pegs.
It"s not just a case of the damage to the ground but it could be potentialy dangerous.
Lets all be safe out there.

This project is now complete and could amount to up to an extra 3 months fishing on this venue(if last year was anything to go by).
Still fishing well despite the slightly colder weather.

Great news,A driveway is to be laid between the cattle grids at the entrance to the field and the entrance to the lake. This will hopefully be finished by the end of this week and will alleviate the problems associated with heavy rainfall. Do however take care in the car park area under these condit...

A trip to Alvechurch produced a nice mixed bag for the son of our treasurer, Young H caught a number of species including 2 of these very pretty fantail looking carp.
