Had my second visit to ASL Tuesday only joined the club 2 weeks ago, first trip hadn't been too successful, blanked in gail force winds and 12 hours of rain
2nd visit far better came in with a 26lb on the nose mirror with the sun shining all day
Even got rid off the headache from all that quacking down there
Can't wait to get back for the third visit!!!

Does anyone know what dates they will be shooting at Abbots Salford, as we are now into the duck shooting season (Duck & Goose Season (inland): Sept 1 - Jan 31)?

John from corn stores did tell me the fish had been out earlier in the year at 28lb plus and the pic is in corn stores

Good result that , you do find on there though that you will catch from the off , and then the place has a habbit of kicking you in the teeth by not wanting you to catch anything , happens to a lot on there . The key on abbots is consistency , not easy , but then thats the nature of the lake. Well done on the fish anyway , Cyprio.
