Dennis Short, the bailiff was telling me he had been down recently catching some nice roach,I would guess this was on the maggot.
Dennis is unlikely to see this but I"m sure if you give him a ring he will be happy to give you any info he has.
Regards Peter.

Had a day on here yesterday with Dave (Bazz) Barry.
Lots of carp on pellet and meat both at 6mtrs and down the edge roach and rudd were one a chuck on the maggot fished up in the water at 3mtrs with the odd carp thrown in for good measure.
We fished pegs 2 and 3 and apart from a very short session by a member and his young son we had the venue to ourselves.
If a fun day with plenty of bites in pleasant surroundings is your game get yourself down to swan pool for the day.
Regards Peter.

The gate off the road is a bit tricky to find first time,go through this and follow the track ,our coded gate is on the right just before the ford.
The carpark has a good amount of hardstanding so no problems there are app 3 pegs in the carpark area but all the pegs on this bank have a step down to the slabs and some are too small to take a "chair" but are fine for a box.
The opposite bank pegs are all flat as is the ground all around the pool and the walk from the carpark to the easier access pegs on the opposite bank is a short one(even for me).
Its a long narrowish venue and the opposite bank is little more than an underhand flick.
Perfect venue for a relaxed pleasure session.
