I have had a few short sessions up on Alve 2, which I think is the better looking of the two waters. It is certainly more challenging than Alve 1 and while we are not always successful we have bagged a few nice carp, both Commons and Mirrors, up to around 8lb.

The question is, does anyone else fish that pool? Apart from one occassion when I fished it with friends, I have never seen anyone else fishing that pool.

I'll take that as a "No" then!

Although I do know that a 11 1/2lb carp came out of the top pool. A friends son caught it back in June.

How about a few more fish in Alve 2 or, assuming stocks and lack of anglers on that pool stay the same, a two rod limit on that pool?? It is very slow most of the time, which is probably why most people stick to Alve 1.....or Bradley Green!
