Recovery ?

After all the negative points regarding Wood Bev, thought I would give it a go anyway, and have been twice in the last 2 weeks.
Fished single red maggot over caster and hemp on Peg 8, and had around 7lb of perch, a 2lb 3oz Crucian, a 4lb 5oz Bream and 2 Tench, best was 4lb...also small Roach, Gudgeon and Rudd....a nice mix of 7 species.
Followig week went again, peg 6, and had another 3 nice Tench with again Roach, Rudd and Perch...
OK, so it not a commercial, but it never was, and as the weather cools, I reckon there may be some more of the Roach and Crucians showing.
Its worth a try...
