New padlock but what is the code?

Postby Pete Hill » Fri May 25, 2012 3:35 pm

Hi all
just a word of warning!
Went to Alvechurch pool this morning with a fellow member only to find that our padlock has been replaced and was unable to get in.
I have since learned that the new padlock was supplied and fitted by the people who keep the horses in the stable by the entrance but that the code has not been made freely available yet?
I have also been told that the "horse people" will let you in if they are there and will also tell you the code?????
Can anyone from the committee shed some light on this as it is all sounds a pretty strange state of affairs.
Thanks
Pete
p.s. went to Skilts instead and had a very pleasant few hours.

Lock at Alvechurch

Postby rogerb » Fri May 25, 2012 8:44 pm

Hi Pete ,
Sorry you had problems with the owners lock.
Good news this has now been sorted as of today by myself with a club lock and the code is the one supplied from the 1st April this year the owners had their reasons as the lock had been damaged previously on two occasions.
Apologies to any other member who could not get passed the gate this should not recur again unless the lock gets damaged again.
Please report ASAP to any Committee Member if you have difficulties in the future.
