This small secluded pool is located in a tranquil part of Redditch. At 1.5 acres, Skilts is well stocked with a variety of species, predominantly carp averaging around 6lb with the odd double making an appearance. In addition there is a healthy head of roach, bream, perch and tench making Skilts an all round venue offering good fishing throughout the season. In January 2019 we replaced the majority of platforms with one being larger and disabled friendly.
Fish may be caught on a variety of methods including the pole, waggler and ledger/feeder, in conjunction with standard baits such as maggot, sweetcorn, boilies, pellet and worms.

Fishery Specific Rules: Members can now drive up to the lake to drop tackle off but must park in the car park back down by the road. The car park next to the lake is for blue badge holders only. Please take care when driving up in wet conditions.
